Chairwoman Feliz is a dedicated leader, lifelong community member, and passionate advocate for the health and well-being of the people of Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians. Born and raised on the Coyote Valley Reservation, she grew up deeply connected to her culture, traditions, and the values of community service.
Before stepping into public service, Chairwoman Feliz gained experience working in various capacities at the Tribe’s casino and convenience store, where she developed a strong understanding of tribal enterprise operations and economic development. Her hands-on experience in these roles provided her with a deep appreciation for the hard work and dedication of community members who contribute to the Tribe’s success.
In January 2025, Chairwoman Feliz was elected to serve as the leader of the Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians, bringing with her a vision of unity, progress, and cultural resilience. She is particularly passionate about promoting sobriety within the community, recognizing its role in strengthening families, preserving traditions, and fostering a brighter future for the next generations. She has actively collaborated with local organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives, ensuring that tribal members have access to vital resources, support systems, and opportunities for healing.
Under her leadership, Chairwoman Feliz remains committed to fostering a strong, self-sufficient, and culturally thriving community. She continues to advocate for programs that empower youth, support families, and reinforce the Tribe’s sovereignty through economic and social development.
When she is not serving her people, Chairwoman Feliz enjoys spending time with her family, participating in cultural events, and working on initiatives that bring positive change to the reservation.
